It was a long summer day in Noida. At the newly designed office, Harish (CEO) was sitting on his desk staring out the window thinking about the team meeting he had some time ago. A lot of things were discussed at the meeting, but Harish felt there was something missing. He felt his team was doing fine but unfortunately they were not able to see the big picture, the big vision.
Have you faced a similar situation? The actual reason why sometimes founders go through this feeling is because the employees are not aligned with the mission, vision, and values of the organization. An aligned organization can sail even in the roughest waters, but the question is how can founders do this.

The Fix:

  • The mission, vision, and values of the company need to be formulated and most importantly communicated to employees. The most common mistake that most founders make is that they keep the MVV in their heads but never bother to share it with their employees.
  • Mision, Vision, and Values need to become your organization’s bible and not just communicated when an employee joins but reiterated every single day till it is installed deep inside them.
  • Make your Mission, Vision, and Values visible to everyone everywhere. The MVV need to be plastered on your office walls, conference rooms and everyplace where employees take notice and act.
